I reach for the stars,
you've stolen my sky.
I'm still waiting here,
While time has flown by.
I hunger for food,
You won't let me eat.
I need to get rest,
You've stolen my seat.
I'm gasping for air,
You won't let me breathe.
I'm feeling sorrow,
And yet I can't grieve.
You've stolen my feelings,
My needs and my sleep.
You've cut me within,
You've taken defeat.
