A road haunts my dreams It goes everywhere and anywhere But the length is unknown It is constantly changing Does it consider who you are? Or where you are going? I cant tell I have taken that road before I am on it All that can happen is that I will walk forever Waiting forever Is it Life's road? It must be Or at least it is one of the paths I wonder if it will end in happiness That is all I can ask for The road varies I can feel the gravel under my feet The hard compact ground feels so real The sun shines through the leaves Or it is night, and I shiver in the cold The road is winding It travels upward and downward No one has the same road No one will pass you No one can walk with you On your road I like my road It can lead anywhere Does it consider what I want? Or does it lead me to one place Does it change? Does each corner form just before I turn? What a road that would be to walk If the road were straight There is nothing to expect If the road curves, there is always hope Will our roads cross? Will it run parallel to mine? Someones will Maybe its yours And if you turn the corner, To see me walking one road over Know this: I will walk beside you For as long as my road will let me.
