Beautiful girl turned inside out
by the anger and pain that drives you
An ice cold fence surrounds your heart
still healing from the wounds
Destructive intent behind deep green eyes
you will fall hard...and soon
I know I've felt this anger
and I know I've felt the pain
But listen to me, been there, done that,
you may never be the same
Damaged parts, with no one to hear you
Hate being touched, eyes full of fear
No matter how much, bravado you show
I see through your armor, Love's knife has seared
right through your very existence
The only way to heal, is time
To hold yourself back with anger's a crime
Don't let it obsess you
Don't let it possess you
Or forever you will find yourself alone.
