Its been a while
since Ive truly smiled
Im kind of content
got nothing extravagant
Its been a while
since I said hello
to all who say they love me
They have proven NOT
Its been a while
Since I just said
**** It
Im worth all of lifes pleasures
But. Its life thats take me hostage
Its been a while
since I moved forward
backwards has been my trend
for years Now
thats come to an end
Its been a while
since I talked to ME
and said I was pretty
said life should be free
Its been a while
oh yes it has
Its time to be set free
And Live again.
