I wish that you knew
none of it was true
all the things I've said
are lies I made for you
Every word I say
is pushing you away
hiding it inside
It's like this everyday
I don't understand the reason why
I laugh and smile instead of cry
when everything becomes a lie
now I'm not sure why I try
And as a last resort I'm writing
while with myself I find I'm fighting
I really don't know what to say
because it's always been this way
I wish that I could say I'm strong
then writing this wouldn't seam so wrong
When you've lied to your self the entire time
who's to say I'm not this time?
