Time...The Pain and Happiness it Holds

time is an acid spilled on the surface of your soul.
an acid that will eat at you and carve symbols into you. symbols that may be hearts and flowers, but may also be skulls and weapons.
there is no way to fill these symbols, some carved deeper than others, some just the surface, some so deep they touch the core of your soul.
the harder you try to ignore the pain of the acid the deeper it will go.
if you embrace the tinglyness and good feelings that are melted into you the pain will subside.
the pain that will lessen and lessen, never going away but almost unnoticed.

Huh, very brief poem, but a nice one at the same time. It kind of befuddles me, but the more I read it, the more it begins to make sense. Nice write, keep em coming!
