Stranded where the world ends
Admitting my defeat
Yet unable to speak
For I have passed my peak
My breath is raspy
Yet so is yours
Weve swam long and hard
Trying to escape fate
And now here we float
As waves collide
From an ocean that cant be defied,
Now was our decision the wisest?
No, for we have lost
And we must suffer
The consequences of our actions
So I just want you to know
That if you sink to the depths
I will use the last of my strength
To bring you back up
Yet can I trust you
To do the same for me?
