I remember walking the halls of school as if it was yesterday
Then just to see you walking pass me would make my day
All I wanted was to say hi, but I would pass with my head low
Those years I had a lot going on that no one will ever know
But as time went on I got out of school without looking back
As years pass since then, I am finally getting my life back on track
There were people I could only wish I could have as a friend
I met new people and lost some as well. But the ones I have now I want til the end
We have only hung out a couple times. But every time is even better than the last
I used to only wish I was able to say hi . Then I compare today back to the past
I missed out on lots of fun cuz I was afraid of doing things I love doing everyday
All I can really say is that I am glad that I have you as a friend today
