To see into the heart of darkness
one need only look into the starkness
of a man's faith and selection
and religious dereliction
in decrying another's belief.

Each has a particular conviction
their's is the only depiction
of God's will and covenant
to all that is relevant
in matters of joy or of grief.

An absurd state of affair
when one is protesting they care
while dogmatically * claiming
their faith in remaining
the only one God really shares.
