I love it, I hate it,
I dont mind it.
Go on so
Give me a bit.
A teenage country
This is our zit,
Come on baby,
Just squeeze it.
You buy it, you chop it
Put it up you nose.
Then turn it up
At all of those
Who dont need
it to talk in prose
the gap begins
and it grows and grows
You toss, you turn
your not much fun.
Sunday morning
you block out the sun.
Is it worth it?
Can you even say
You live for the night
and die every day.

I understand this all too well & after too many years I know the answer for me was,"NO!" it was not worth it. Hope you don't waste as many years as I. Not waggin' my finger at you in true "born again" fashion...just understanding.

Hopefully your girlfriend comes to realize all the things she has to lose by continuing to go down the path that she has chosen. Nicely written poem though.
