Questioning Love

Ok, so this is where i start,
A friendship, a complete lust.
Is this all i will acomplish?
Or be he only a friend i can trust.
His eyes do look so placid,
They always hold the truth.
But to whom is this truth always told?
This man seems to be struggling with youth.
So bold... he smiles at me,
Rarely has this occured.
The smile on his face and look in his eyes,
Makes my mind feel nothing... but blurred.
The truth in his eyes,
Lets me know that he needs me.
Yet the smile shown on his face...
Shows the world will set him free.
If i give him the world...
Love straight from my heart.
Will he return it to me? No,
But i knew this from the start.
So life will carry on,
In it's normal kind of way.
Our friendship seems to brighten,
Questioning love to forever stay.
