Friends say time to move on and live life,
Dry the tears, smile and remove the knife,
Although it was all hurt and full of pain,
Get out there, find another and start again.
Been there, done that, got the broken heart.
You cant keep moping keeping head down,
Give a smile and wipe away that awful frown,
But I say thats easy for those, the happy few,
Seems Ive lost and cried but no one ever knew.
Been there, done that, got the broken heart.
I look at those who hold hands and all along,
The jealousy of their blue skies, happy song,
Whilst for me that cloud hovers up above,
To tell me never again will I be in love.
Been there, done that, got the broken heart.
