Just Like You

Contributed by Chamaron on Monday, 6th November 2006 @ 09:12:50 PM in AEST
Topic: psychoticpoems

I see you weakened,
Downtrodden, hanging by a thread,
And all I want to do is break you,
Leave you for dead.

I see you struggle,
You are longing for escape,
You'll do anything to make me go away,
But it's too late.

You ruined my days,
Burned down my feeble walls,
And now I'm coming after you,
With merciless brutality and all.

They told you to stop,
Don't push me over the edge.
Now I bet you wish
You had listened to what they said.

This is what you wanted anyway, right?
To breed a monster that won't forgive,
One that would make you question
Why you ever dared to live.

Leave the child to cry in the corner,
Don't have a second go while they're down,
Or else their cries of revenge
Will knock from your head your tear-stained crown.
