i didnt get you presents
on the day of romance
but i sent you this poem
so give me a chance
to fix my mistake
and right all my wrongs
i give you my heart
to you it belongs
i'll write you some rhymes
and send them away
my words are my gift
on valentines day
i know that its corny
i know its not much
but i hope that my poem
has that warm loving touch
dont get me anything
dont worry about me
i got what i wanted
your loves all i need

and its really no biggie
you're probably too busy
for a poet named iggi
but friends are forever
and some people say
love only gets stronger
when you give it away
