On Waking from a Dream--

Contributed by Man_On_High on Thursday, 9th November 2006 @ 05:23:20 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

..chariots of copper and gold..
prows and silver and steel
thresh the foam,
stirring dunes and brambles-

the enormous ruts of the ebb flow east,
toward the pillars of forest-depths
toward the jetty trunks
against whose edge,
whirlwinds of light collide.

Great imagery here! It leaves me with the impressions we often have of fleeting dreams when waking up.....very pleasant!
