To be in his blessed church, tis so very good,
His salvation, self expicit, well understood.
Through his elect, God, speaks to me,
His truth is demonstrated that I may see.
Of your natural heritage, so little to pay,
Not a brief benefit but is for that eternal day.
No break in the action when life is done,
All of my heart to invest for a prize to be won.
Folks, your decision is not eenie, meenie minie moe,
Must be all of you to avoid that lasting woe.
Need not a secret place for this treasure to hide,
Tis here for the taking, God wants you to abide.
Should my heart have arms to embrace this beloved will,
With repentance, old self you new may kill.
Grasp this gift lest it slips away,
For there is coming an eternal day.
