Screaming silently in the night Screaming but you can't hear a whisper Not even a whisper fills the room It's as empty as the hole inside of me As if there is someone at the bottom of the hole, screaming.. Craving for the hole to be filled .. but not a sound is made.
Silence.
Silence suffocates the screaming No one will ever know No one will ever hear the screaming The silent screaming All it does is to make the hole bigger
But not even a whisper is heard.

Thanks for the feedback, I've never written a poem before, but that's how I felt last night so I (tried) to put it in words, as I'm sure more people has felt like that at some point! |
