She took my love for granted
I thought it would always last
But now i look back
At a fling from the past
Gave me my heart
Then took it away
All the while
I thought She'd stay
I had lots of hope
But now its hard to cope
I will love her always
And always stay true
to you my mother
Always thru and thru
She gave me this life
Tried to take it away
Try as she might
I'm here to stay
