- thats when the last angel died
the last bra need burnt
- was burnt
that was when love was killed
and you were gone Wells
- Lewisham, a dead dream
same with you Orwell
the aspidistra was taken back
- from British windowsill
didnt you know Fitzgerald
- Zelda wasnt it
and you never had a place Kafka
its Kerseys world now
- with Ratchets key chain
didnt you ever listen Dali
- with holes and braking things
your love was a mess old man
too long passed was Shakespeare
Love is Dead!
- Long live the Queen!
Venus is now just as red
- as Mars
The Book makes her the temptress
- the folly of the serpent
- the cheap flesh slave
Didnt you hear about it
in that wonderful place
poisoned lands now
- thats where the angel died
the very last
the very one
- to hold out hope
- that didnt burn
- or believe in such pain
to believe in peace
is to hope in life, love
but hope was killed
long ago
and 84 is here
but no man with following eyes
no, this wasnt needed
Hate found itself
in the last death
- that of an angel.
