I have seen those clever masks,
ones everyone has
so brave and strong
those masks are lies
and fall fast when someone dies
i saw the careful masks fall down and shatter on the ground
as a life fades and moves on
the masks are gone.
in place is the truth and pain
no one is to blame
and no one is put to shame
loss and greif is the masks defeit
but understand that loss is not all bad
yet it hurts and is sad
and the mask is a sheild
yet is also a lie
you cant be the mask not even with time

| as all good writes do this one leaves hints and meanings for everyone to percieve as they will..for me it seems to be letting someone know that they cannot sheild you from life......this is a powerfull write. thank you for posting. |
