Rest assured that what you fear will come true
before you even knew what hit you
I'll try to be easy but breaking hearts is an art I've yet to perfect
It's not like you never knew, what you were getting yourself into
You know me better than I know myself
Let me breathe these words soft and low
and burn the threads between our hearts so slow
and while the flame is dying
we'll dance in our ashes full of pain
I'm willing to sacrifice a good thing
for something that we do not want to admit will be better
no need for tears, smiles are on the way
If I have to watch you weep I know it will weaken me
but I have to keep in mind
we'll be looking forward to better days
A taste so bitter in the mouth of love
decaying the kisses and the memories of the days
there's nothing left to hold on to, no one left to belong to
I've floated much too far away
No one will ever love you the same...
No one will ever hurt you the same...

interesting..i enjoyed this write.. i can relate to these feelings so well...sometimes no matter how bad it hurts, you have to let go, because life can be so much better....and then nothing is ever the same..."no one will ever love you the same...
noone will ever hurt you the same.."

| I enjoyed the hidden feelings and deep innocent emotions. This poem really spreads the truth out very plainly but with easy to see emotions and feelings. |
