your silence shouts
above the din of solitude
your voice is frail
and wretched
you've made your choice
and you choose indifference
which does not become you
for it is empty
and hollow
and shallow
and unworthy of you
the universe loves you
or so you say
yet the universe uses us
to manifest its intent
which you do not see
i hope it is worth it
to give up all
for nothing
