Thats what you are
Were miles apart
I just wanted to let you know that its not too far
Nothing can silence this love that I keep in my heart
Im stuck here just thinking about you
And how each of our lives took us in a different direction
Baby girl I dont think you have a clue
So to the past I must make a correction
I would let my heart spill out
So that you would know how I truly felt
And know what this letter is all about
Cause a loneliness like this I have never been dealt
Baby Girl I love you
And I always have
Im trying to figure out what to do
I just know Im so sick and tired of feeling so sad
So baby just take my hand now
Ill show you the way
Baby dont cry well make it some how
Well find a way
That is what I would say to you
That is, if you were here
But youre not, youre in a far off land trying to figure out what to do
So for now Ill keep our memories near
And try to hold on
Until that day when you are no longer gone.
