To you I speak I speak quite frank
All I can give is worthless to a bank
A deep understanding of my mind
I put into words for friends to grind
I pray you see the depth of their mean
Not sad nor happy but in between
To give a glow to follow true
An aid to help in what you do
A mix of both for a balance of light
To allow the sun to shine in your night
The world is full of pain and love
To each is theirs a gift from above
Take the message and use it well
Remember in life do not dwell
Around the corner is something new
A special gift to a heart that's true.
