this storm has come
the frost is over
hibernation never lasts forever
slithering into the water
at last, you and i are back together
you missed me
the weak and easy target
your favorite prey
i've been lying here lifeless since you last went away
i missed you too, my friend of gloom
the void in my heart was drowning in echoes
i fear not your touch, for
my sanctuary is sought within your somber meadows
sadness is bestowed upon all whom you know
accpeting my reality
i opt not to fight
for if you never came back to me
there'd be nothing in my life

| wow..amazing write. you describe this so well...it's almost as if your talking about a person ....and it puts depression into perspective...so others can almost understand what it's like...wonderfull metaphor. nicely done. |
