Mary I really liked Yet I wasn't being so bright
I thought she my friend on that I couldn't depend
For goodness sake twas all a fake
It was only pretense she acted like my friend
Instead she my foe pumping me for info
what she really feels is called ill will
Could it be a mistake it's trouble she wants to make
Well I'll admit perturbed I am a bit
Truly fond I was of Mary though often she's contrary
I told much in trust Now I feel such disgust
And I said to her once more as I said a # of times before
I always liked you Mary We'd make great friends go out & drink sherry.
but you see Mary didn't care to be friends with me
Mary said enough friends she had I think that's really quite sad
It's hard to find good friendships They're very special kinships
My few friends I thank thee Lord they strike a very special chord

Wonderful!
Sadly enough, true friends ARE hard to find.
Love and godbless-
