In Horizons And Beyond
In a distant place where sky meets sea
a merging point's revealed to me
There, tones of aqua and azure vie,
in panorama to draw my eye,
away from earthen views of troubled times,
from the dead and dying, humanities crimes.
Would that man find commonality,
like sea meets sky in.... harmony.
Though hues be varied and distinct,
In common, in reason, all men are linked.
Hues and views and politics
need not end in armed conflicts.
