By the waters edge we stroll, my guardian angel and me.
An indescribable bond, that nobody else can see.
The dancing wind flows swiftly by, stopping to kiss my cheek,
Alone hand-in-hand we slowly walk, without the need to speak
By the waters edge we stroll, my guardian angel and me.
My hearts behind a lock and chain, whilst my angel holds the key.
A million diamonds stay afloat, cast by the setting sun.
My angel will continue to keep the key until my love is won.
Four footprints left, embedded in the sand. Only two are to be seen.
For by the waters edge we stroll, my guardian angel and me.
