I was hoping this season
That I could find a reason
For leaving home
But I cant think of anything
Now these words create memories
Of times that are gone
And Im still here without you
Theres nothing that I want more
Than to see your face
In the morning
Lying next to me
I can still hear you breathing
I miss those days
When the sun shined through our bedroom window
Warning us that another day has just begun
And now its all gone
I can still see your smile
I still here you laugh
Every time I close my eyes
To go to sleep
I think about everything
That I left behind
And my mind starts racing
With these thoughts and lost feelings
Things I never said that I should have
But now Im gone and youre still there without me
Theres nothing that I want more
Than to see your face
