I was so close To having the love of my dream. Then it disappeared, Like a single tear in a stream.
I was dancing on the clouds Dancing with you, feeling the soft skin Now Im left all alone Wondering what could have been.
I looked inside myself And I found the one last ember Left from times past From that emotion I can hardly remember.
I hoped that that one ember Could be coaxed into a flame With you at the billows The fire that appeared would be yours to claim.
That one last ember though Hasnt quite faded away. Its still locked in my heart Until you are ready, there it will stay.

"I was so close

don't cry! you are wating for her, she has got to realize this sooner or later. hopefully tomorrow will hold pleasant surprises!
she will realize before that ember burns out or it will be her loss.
each poem of yours gets better and better tim, just shows that your emotion for her gets stronger and stronger every day.
still think your rhyming skills are amazing, just like this poem...amazing! |
