Hyper-constricted, Perma-enlisted, In succession, the numbers fall completely into sequence. Taken discreetly, "Anno Domini" With transition; the changing and beginning of an essence.
A roller coaster ride, Multiply and divide, Take away the sins of the world. The sequence never tried, Subtract to add the side, Grant us peace by ways of the sword.
Become one with the symbol. Like a thumb in a thimble, Be fully protected From the axis of evil. Create the perfect system. With a method that's nimble, Put the two together To make it equal.
A roller coaster ride, Multiply and divide, Take away the sins of the world. The answer sits beside An illusion revived From the true meaning of our lord.
"A clear image; the solution"

I enjoyed the way this flowed along and the meaningful contrasts you used. Thought provoking to say the least.

I love the premise
instead of confessional = divisional
penance = polynomials
absolution = algebra...etc
You have penned a piece that dares much..
most delightful...
Peace

I have never been great at math
so most of the meaning of your poem
is lost on me yet the title I feel is a
clever play on words , the flow of
the poem is quick and draws one in.
I take it that your saying math offers a
clear and concrete answer which would
indeed be nice for a change. I would glady
join your religion but if I go to a bake sale
at your church I must insist that you serve
pi. lol Truly , Doug |

That was by far the most creative poem I have ever read. Can't say I fully understood it, but sometimes that is the luster of a poem. Keep up the good work, you are truly gifted friend.
Peace upon you,
-Mike |
