Who'd have thought

In days of yore travelling in different packs in different cities different worlds they went about life
One thought That savage with long hair And dangerous ways
The other thought Superficial friends And self-importance Clouded reality
Years pass by In parallel they Lived, loved, laboured Paths traversed and diverged Like boat wakes crossing En route to islands On the same lake
Now each others best friend And best man Amazed still By undiscovered common threads And newly discovered common loves of Friends, music and mayhem
The unlikeliest of friends forever.
