If I do not let it show
But pass through the moment still
It is not the absence of emotion
But the echo of love
If I do not acknowledge a moment
It is because moments do not matter
Not the moment we stand, hand in hand
Not the moment we say I do
For, if the moment does not matter
Then all that matters will be you
If I do not acknowledge joy
It is because I have never let her go
If I do not acknowledge hope
It is because I have always known
But we will come to know an absence
as we too shall pass
at some moment, hand in hand
One of us quiet, and one of us still
