PAY ATTENTION

Pay Attention

Just keep looking at the sky,
while your entire life just fades and dies,
life goes by,
life tells lies,
people round you cry,
but you don't care.
You just stare.
Straight up into this vast empty space.
You don't see whats in front of your face.
You don't dare look straight,
because you fear
what you know is so near.

Pay attention

Keep you head out of the cloud
just scream loud.
Let people hear you.
Make people fear you.
Make it clear
what you find so dear.
Take your mind not focused
make your eyes refocused.

Pay Attention

Just listen to the words I try and tell you,
don't believe what others try to sell you.
Don't let people shape you,
make you what your not made to.
Allow yourself to be free
just listen to me.
Stop looking at the sky,
just cause you fear life's lies,
don't let life walk by.

PAY Attention

Grab life
like a butcher knife.
Stab your fears,
maim your tears.
Do not cry,
though you may die.
Live life to the fullest
be the greatest.
Be what you couldn't be
with your head in the sky.

PAY ATTENTION

There is a tension building here and well done use of repetition. It balances how many times we each have heard it: "Pay Attention," like we are born with a debt of it or something.

Good Job

Peace
