I will note directly I dont write poetry.
I do have a relative who has been here for years that does.
I come here to read her work and several of her friends works.
The other day I will say I was offended with some of the suicide things
I have seen on here . I do not understand why certain works are removed
while others are left here. I am a religous woman and I did not find anything wrong
with something romantic and tasteful but I sure do fine suicide and murder and slasher
stuff disgusting and think they should be removed from public view.
I have had my say in the matter.

| When I first came on here I had a big row over that same thing. One of my poems was deleted because it was considered "erotic",,it was a bit sensual, but not really erotic. There were a lot of poems that talked about headless corpses, and devouring bleeding flesh, which I think is worse than sensuality. I don't get it. Supposedly it's because this is a "family" site..I guess the family can see necrophila but not kissing...I don't get it either. |

I like when folks stand up to be counted.. Good for you. More people shoud do the same. I myself don't read either group of poetry.
