Trust is something that shouldnt be lost Losing hope in someone is a great cost. At the start my trust in you was strong But now with you, Im not sure it belongs.
You promised me Id shed no tears But now I find myself facing all those fears. My heart feels torn between my head Because of those things you did and said.
With this sadness comes confusion The image of a soul mate seems just an illusion. Loss of trust not just for me But loss of a best friend's trust because of she.
A million apologies and a lot of tears, All because of too many beers. In darkness you spoke of caring for me All your confessions, confessed to she.
Having consumed too much drink You found yourself unable to think. Flooding images of me in your head You thought I was she in that bed.
I was not there so I could not see For the second time what was happening to me. Distance created blindness that emotions cannot cure But now I can see that your heart is not so pure.
Now I wait till my head is clear To decide on what I fear. The loss of love or a broken heart All for a relationship Im unwilling to start.
You now say you love me But how can that be, when you were with she. How can love falter when it's so strong Maybe this means that you were wrong.
What you thought was love in your heart Just happened to be blindness from the start. But love is blind, so how can you see If the love you feel is for me or she.
The trust is gone, just a fading memory Will this betrayal leave us forever lonely. With our friendship still intact My feelings for you are still exact.
The feelings for you will not quickly fade The memories we had will outlast a decade. Your friendship for I truly rely Please dont leave without saying goodbye.
