A Bachelors Longing

Contributed by yangdantien on Saturday, 2nd December 2006 @ 12:14:57 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

For you I shall green await for springtime,
the springtime of your loving
when you desire
nectar from pollen
I shall be sweetly awaiting
burgeoning in silver life-force
blooming dreaming
of your gold joy prolonged.

I shall blue build a craft to steer
the roll and wave of your pleasure around
the world, sun and milky array we shall
take sanctuary within pearly gates
resting to renew our red foray.

Crossing mommas and flutter balms
knowing many, loving some
bearing song to our marrow
well hum, freely bitter-sweet.

Our time mirrors track and rail
and all the workers who came
upon morning rise, eyes squinting
from the sun and beams
shining paths for root and bees
in mellifluous chimes,
the wind caprice ameliorates
to call along.

Attuned the bloom slumbers
dreaming of cures for
diabetes, sterility and survival.
The fit test: who ever makes
the most babies rear
to spawn themselves
ultimately wins?

Yes I will be gray waiting
as a fruit plucked fresh
from this Poem-tree
ti's my white delight
against the dark illusion of separateness.

...and you are a, "Bachelor" why? Are the women in your corner of the globe soooooo blind then...something in the water? In all seriousness now, I love how deep you are...& while I don't always, " get it " right away, I love that I'm always compelled to go back & try!!!

P.S. Now, about those mashed potatoes...well, we can exchange recipes later. Wink!

Ok Aj,
now I must say I love how your mind and your heart work. Geezzzz . I melted reading this one into a puddle right where I sit.
Beautiful, tender, lovely and spellbinding to say the least.

AJ, You are a master at word play. A bachelor indeed, who will be the lucky one to get you, my friend? I felt like I was drowning in a sticky syrup and it was sweet as hell. Loved this.
(Goes and fans self)
Peace and hugs,
Laura

I find it pleasantly interesting that it is poets of the female
persuasion that have dropped a comment on this, your longing ~

I love how you wove colour throughout the write .. bringing
the image to life that much more brilliantly .. time and fate
are the most peculiar of lovers, no? When we have all
that we desire they seem in perfect harmony .. but OH
how they find themselves in the midst of a quarrel when our
dreams and wishes resist manifesting ..

exceptional write here, AJ. I enjoyed this one very much.

time will be kind .. and fate, (you will find), shall kiss you
softly when you least expect it. This I know to be true ~

: ) *smiles*

If one has no expectations then one has no disappointment...who pray tell could fill the expectations after reading such a beautiful piece....anyone who has a heart. It is rare a man can reveal such passion...but obviously possible. Thanks Yang
