Sunlight Spattered on the Clear Dawn
Sprinkling the contrast of the Night away
The metal glistened
And contorted
Magically
In the Magic
The Man walks
In his:
Past
Present
And Future
Memories swirling in his head
Like the necromancers dead
Sizzling within his temples
As he imagined
He saw the Metal
In rugged glory
Its levels
And Stages
Glowing in silent streams
His Dreams
Like the Streams
Of Metal and Imagination
Gave a new view
A new concept
On the days long gone
As though they were from
An Era of Mysticism
Mystics and Sooth-Sayers
Businessmen and Psychologists
All living
In quiet slumber
Hidden Wonder
Within the mans
Imagination
Then
In the suddenness of his own contemplation
He appeared
Somewhere
New
This was a definitive shock
A new being
Shown in memories Blocked.
Seeing
A new world
The Psychology had evaporated
And Terror melted over his
Emotions
His contemplations
His own Existence
This was the way
Of the Bridge
The Bridge
Transference of the consciousness
Rebirth
And Retribution
Combined in quiet slumber
The Man needed to see further
He thought in his own sleep
Dreaming of the Metal Streams
And as he dreamed he saw his life again
In a quiet Glen
Comas are a terrible thing
When not on
The Bridge

This reminds me of the brilliant material
produced by the sci-fi oriented band Rush.
Excellent, absorbing poem.
