she was all i ever wanted
my heart would beat aloud
i walked on air when i walked with her
i walked with her so proud...
we laughed and cried, and shared our dreams
we strived to reach our goals
we swore undying love for each
and etched it on our souls...
we lived... we'd breathe... we were... as one
we'd ate... we'd feed... having fun
this world's our oyster...ours to keep
we only sowed... what we could'nt reap...
everywhere, i've ever been
i've never lost that early dream
that "we can change the world" routine
separate ways, but your all i seen...
i dont need to close... my eyes to see you
...your everything i see...
your here and there and every where
are you looking down on me...
If only well... if only... hindsights such a gift
without you i'm so lonely... you gave me such a lift...
the gift for me's the knowing... we had it all one day
such a shame... we started growing... and let it slip away...
