They marched, with staunch supporters by their side, In league was the protest with Genocide, Clamoring for peace with values upside down To add a jewel to the butcher's crown They chanted loud and furled banners wide, They marched for peace in league with Genocide..
Gave strong support to a murderous enemy But were it not for their democracy The marchers would be promptly put to rout, The hands chopped off, protesting tongues torn out. But dunces know not truly what they do, And neither does a weasel or cuckoo
They marched and bolstered up the beast, Indifferent,- not troubled in the least By countless slaughter victim innocents, But propped the butcher with the bloodied hands; "It happened not to them", and thus for peace The dunces chanted, peace and comforts ease
To force the brave to throw the towel in And help the brutal enemy to win, Peace demonstrations, call for peace A peace without a backbone, guts or teeth. And so the marchers confidently stride And chant AMEN AMEN! to Genocide.

Don't agree, but it's a nice poem--and you express your opinion pointedly. |

"Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding."
-Albert Einstein
War for peace can only create more conflict. A Genocide, worse than just a boundary war, may just destroy the Genociders or the Genocided; more likely it would destroy much more than one bargained for(ala WWII).
I do like your form, and I find some truth, especially the part about democracy.
