i want to sleep now
i need to find my bed
my eyes are tired and heavy
my body feels like lead
my feet are numb
my fingers cold
my back is aching
i'm getting old
i need to rest
to see things fuller
but when i dream
i dream in colour...
its getting late now
time has taken flight
i'm sat here cold and lonely
in my world of black and white
i need to dream... to ease my pain
coloured dreaming... keeps me sane
helps me feel alive to reap
the rainbow dreams...i find through sleep...
i lay in bed to
see the world through
the dreams that visit me at night
and in the morning
when the world is yawning
i come back here to sit and write...
coloured dreaming
nightmares screaming
sleep to sweat
then wide awake
chase a rainbow
here i am now
out of breath
this body shakes
