Singing songs of nursery rhymes a pocket full of posies Something about a plague and dying doesnt seem to rosy Thinking these unwanted mysteries might just have some key Of the way to step when we fall the time coming to be We are Walking with untied shoes a fumble in the clay But every time I open my mouth my foot gets in the way tongue tied and chocking a sudden mocking glee A jester in this court yard with no hiding from the trees
I want solitude in this corner of my hall The pin prick is deafening to the call My savior and me walk but no words are shared I hang my grace with sunken shoes we are quiet the pair
Singing songs of nursery rhymes something about crying Finding that the ones you love are slowly dying Scaring the fright the way I light a lonesome candle Covering the ears this eclipse is much more to handle
