Are VCRs extinct?

Has DVD replaced VHS? Most people probably say yes. A lot of people probably say that VCRs are yesterday's news. I like DVD players but I like VCRs too. I especially liked the older pop up VCRs and the VCRs that could record in LP. Many people may like the idea of VCRs becoming extinct but it's not okay with me. It's true that DVD discs are better than VHS cassettes. But if VCRs go out, it will be something that I'll regret.
