I am a line.
Nothing more, Nothing less.
I run straight and parallel
Next to the stream of life.

I continue forever,
Never crossing with another.
Just running straight onwards,
Never stopping.

Once, I caught a glimpse,
Just one glimpse of those beside me.
So happy and carefree,
Not haunted by endless solitude.

They don't even know I exist.
But why would they?
I am a line,
Just a line.

Excellent to stretch the point. Your poem has punch and many things hang to dry on its infinte capacity.

The reader intersects only to get in touch with their own straight and narrow.

Well Done.

Peace
Yangdantien

PS May I play fully add 'How You Doin'?
Wow, thats how much I liked this....
