I love you means nothing
but
pillow talk
pure passion, pure....bliss
the beauty of just you and me
and sunbeam kisses to wake us at noon
with warm sighs to mask
our whispered secrets
a lovers roving hands
caressing, enticing
wanting, needing
desire
a wordless greeting
feeling the pulse of life
flutter through loving veins
two hearts beating to their own drum
and if that's all my words can contain
I'll say I love you
whispered for your ears alone
then ask you to pay no heed to the sound
listen not to the words
but soak up there meaning
let my touch give sound to dead syllables
look into my eyes to find your definition
let your soul feel the truth of this
I need you....
more then just desire
everything pales in comparison to you
if you let me
I'll be your Van Gogh
to paint your life beautiful
I'll be your Socrates
bringing reason to your questions
I'll be me
striving to bring a smile to your lips
and all I ask from you
is nothing

wow this is very powerful and is true sometimes.. soemtimes the words are not enough.. but through actions is better.. awesome job in putting that into words

This reminds me of my poem of the same title... : ) I think this is a beautiful poem SM, and any girl would feel quite lucky I'm sure to hear such thoughtful and sweet expression. I also think you're crazy with your "I hate the words" author's note! No one asked for your opinion : )))) So, just where are you? You're pushing on four months here without an appearance! Do you think you're me or something??? lol Just kidding. I hope 2K7 is being kind to you so far though, and hope to see a new post from you real soon.
