Waiting Patiently for Life

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Thursday, 14th December 2006 @ 08:01:26 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

surprisingly, and not completely out of whack
there still remains something more to be seen-
from things an imagination convinced itself it had taken back
short of the abilities, necessary, to lay this crafty trap
required, to penetrate this cloak of disaster, attached-
to hopes of forever, with a dominate display of colorful feathers-
shown to whomever asks-
fingers snap
as the audience claps
faces left aghast

while important contributions have been made-
in the names, of the anonymous-
philanthropist donating poker-chips to the slaves of the heartless
the homeless, and opponents of condoning wrongful components-
practical lessons in logic
assuming its magic,
then, how does the white rabbit, exit the black hat, and call it tragic?
suppose the all of everything is as once was previously imagined
relaxed and composed, disposed of stress, and void of any real passion
enlightened are the ignorant as the figment of my imagination tightens
frightened and fidgety, the movements of bodies collide in abstracted vibrations

attracted by magnetic pulses
sent from the core of all curses
into the veins and exhaled-
nailed, to the wall, on a frame sits the outlined portrait
a silhouette of misfortune-
the future and its most inopportune culprit
to ruin, all that has taken shape, and been spoken, in eloquence, from this pulpit-
the tone is inappropriate

over a period of insurmountable time, comes, grief-
a relief is in need to house the hungry and feed the naked
while a clot scars what breeds
then bleeds, into the scared, and the sacred
a plot of cemetery trees, a soft cot to sleep,
stop, as the breeze softly sends a shiver through the knees,
a whisper reaches its peak,
kept in its peace, while others to try and read, and speak,
decibels and dream of release,
until it is taken,
shaken,
to perfection
indeed.

laid to sleep

jyss .. damn, man, but you do have an interesting and
profound way of expressing yourself!

I have mixed emotions here .. I find this utterly forlorn and
sad in part, but somehow am comforted in the words. ..
strange, but true ..

The title is unspeakably deep ... in so many ways. Your writes never
cease to delight my mind.

Happy holidays, and have a safe and wonderful 2007!!

~Breezy
