spending all of the time
waiting to find yourself
searching the wrong places
while lost in somewhere else.
the endlessness so wearing
you feel a goldfish in a bowl
circling in self exploration
repeating that same old transient goal.
i just want to break down these walls
only then i can only be free
i just want to answer the calls
of that phoenix trapped inside of me
each day a rollercoaster
taking all the ups and downs
such a mixed bag of emotions
just a lottory on smiles and frowns.
confidence requires fireworks
past beloved needs forgotten
must remember lifes perks
and lay these dreams in cotton
i just want to scream
until this bubble bursts
reach up and pull down the heavens
and tell that man about my hurts
