He presses his fingers into gray sand, Beginning to twist and sculpt. Waves pounding tympani rhythms against the rock, Blue eyes shine with the fire of imagination. Hands rhythmically pulling, Bending, crunching. His laughter floats above the waves, Echoes across the wrinkled tidal sands. At last, finished, he stands back, The master admiring his work: A towering fortress, Felled by a single wave. He laughs and reaches down to start again, Yellow hair glinting in the sun like bleached straw.
