On the other side of paradise
Sailing on winds of dreams to come
They land on a sun drenched beach
Golden warm sand, emerald green palms
Cool ocean breezes & a sea as smooth as glass
Infinite peace so frail & calm
Then in an instant the sky ignited with fury against them
And the heavens rained down
Creating bowls to collect their innocent blood
The beauty sharpened & steepened into darkness of nothing
As the world collapsed beneath them they fell
Past the ends of infinity
And there in the time of sleeping death took them by the heart
As the anger of angels arose to face them
Oh father in our most precious of memories
The dark outsides of our sanity take hold
In a place where no tears are shed for us
To face annihilation, to witness the rebirth
In this alternate state of reality what awaits us
A beautiful salvation or eternal damnation
