I ask you now to concider
the days that's all gone by
as each one brings you closer
to the day you finally die
to the dreams that stand uncounted
unrealized and unfulfilled
to a final fate we're destined
as we play the hand as dealed
as we ask ourselves the questions
that fills our idle minds
to understand the reasons
so often that one finds
that death knows not bias
nor the color of your skin
for when your time is over
then it's over then my friend.
